My whole experience was excellent, Erich was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. He had a solution for any problems or questions that I had. His RV is very clean and well kept, I was worried about renting out somebody elses 12 year old RV, I like things very clean.... but this was wonderful. Clean and like new. Was very well appointed and stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Review:

I was extremely pleased with my RV rental with Daniel. The Four Winds was perfect for my needs and was a home away from home on wheels. I felt safe and secure. Though I did not take advantage of all the amenities offered and available, it was exactly the "creature comfort and space" I needed. Daniel was most accommodating and thoughtful in answering my questions. My brief RV experience was very positive an unexpected adventure in itself. I hope to rent again and share the adventure with my family when the timing is appropriate for a longer trek. Thank you Daniel!

Mike and Randy were great! Mike checked us out for Pick-Up and was very helpful going over all the details of the unit and spent extra time explaining how to do everything as we are new to RV-ing with a trailer. He even moved a brand new mattress from another RV to ours so we would be extra comfortable in bed. Randy met me at Return check in and was also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Review:

Our first ever RV trip with Daniel’s RV was an experience of lifetime! The RV was in great shape and had all the amenities we could have imagined for our trip down coastal highway. The beds were very comfortable with the Kitchen and Bathroom in great condition and working order. It was quite a spacious one. We were 4 adults + 2 children and were very comfortable. Kids had a great time exploring the RV and playing in it (including with the hidden Star Wars swords Daniel had placed for their enjoyment :-) ). The RV drove extremely well through the curves and bends of the coastal highway as well. We could tell, it had been well taken care of. What we really appreciated was that Daniel went to great lengths to describe all the functionalities and facilities in the RV while also explaining how to set up systems around water, electricity, cable etc. at a camp site – all of which was extremely useful to us since we were doing this for the first time – Thank you Daniel! Overall, we had a great RV experience with Daniel and would recommend his RV to anyone in a heartbeat.

Great people! Very nice and easy to work with. There was a slight smoke smell so be weary if you're sensitive to that. There was a problem with the thermostat ... you may want to inquire to see if it was fixed prior to renting it. Overall the trailer worked perfectly for our trip.

Erich was fabulous to work with. I had a new baby grandson in the NICU at a hospital and my daughter was being discharged. I found Erich on this site and reached out -- and within minutes heard back. He coordinated a drop off at the hospital for me within just a few hours. He went way beyond what I had expected. He parked it and got me oriented quickly. The coach was amazing. Clean and stocked. Ready to go. This truly is a comfortable elegant rv and we were so pleased with the bedroom and spacious bathroom. Fabulous bed and great kitchen area. They had everything we needed other than food. Didn't realize it could be so home like. I would recommend renting from Erich as he obviously cares about the details and quality in his coach. Great experience.

This was our first time renting an RV and it was a great experience! Julie really took her time to show us how to work everything in the RV (Inside and out) Everything was so easy to work and driving it was super fun! We had everything we needed and the RV was stocked with so many extra's like silverware, pots, pans, hand soap..etc. There were 6 of us and we had more than enough storage space, and everyone was comfortable during the drive as well as sleeping at night. She was very flexible with the pick up time and return time (as we were taking a nice 4 day trip to Disneyland) It was like our little home away from home. The RV was VERY clean, user friendly and the perfect size for our family trip. I would definitely rent from her again!

RV complaints I wondered why the RV rental picture was so grainy but now I know why. The RV was in poor repair. There was a crack on the windshield, a gash in the side, a missing step. I was provided with a stool that was stolen the first day. Let me tell you that is a big first step for someone only 4’8”! The owner practiced false advertising. I saw a document saying the RV was a 2000, not a 2004. I was told the RV came with a TV and DVD player. Both of these items had been removed and the repair of the wall was VERY sloppy. The hot water heater worked for 2 days then stopped. We had to continually heat water for dishes. Inside the RV there were drawers that wouldn’t open and others that wouldn’t stay shut. One of the huge sliding cupboards slammed into my favorite water container causing it to crack in half. The electricity worked as long as we were plugged in. However, when it came to needing to rely on the generator, even though it turned on, it didn’t supply the RV with any power. That meant no microwave or air conditioning. Cooking became a nightmare! The fridge worked as long as we were plugged in. When we had to camp without electricity the fridge stopped working and I lost a BUNCH of food. The outside pods were very difficult to manage. I had to call the owner several times for assistance and he was not always timely in getting back to me. I was informed that I “needed to lean into the pod and apply pressure from my knee, depending on which side was stuck the most.” When that didn’t help the situation I was told that I “needed to adjust the pod door by moving it to either to the right or the left, first, before applying my knee to the right or the left side of the pod.” At one campsite we filled the clean water tank. No one explained to me that this would cause the shower to back up and allow everything we had stored in there to get soaked. The window shades didn’t work. That meant the passengers couldn’t see out. It also meant that even if you opened the windows you couldn’t get any breeze. But what was worse than that is when we didn’t have hook-ups and the generator failed to work it was like an oven in there. I failed to read the rental policy and didn’t understand that even though I was being charged for 13 full days I really only was supposed to receive 12 ½ days usage. Because I returned the RV “late” the owners were very upset with me. The owners then berated me for supposedly not empting the gray and black water. I had personally supervised this activity so I KNOW it had been done. The owner called me a liar and said her gauges didn’t lie. All I could think of was if her gauges work as well as everything else on this RV why am I surprised? Do not give the owner your credit card number. The owner placed a $985.42 extra charge on my credit card. He reported to my credit card company that this extra charge was for “cleaning and damage”. All that needed to be cleaned was the 4 sq. ft. of carpeting that got wet when the shower overflowed.) I asked him for an itemized expense report and he has yet to supply me with one. Here is the thing that has me most upset… How was he able to determine the need for this ridiculously high additional expense when he has just picked up the RV at 6:00 pm and was, by his own admission, dropping it off immediately at the next unsuspecting customer? I cannot possibly figure out how he had time to clean and repair anything in the 1 hour it took him to charge my credit card. I am in the process of contesting this additional charge with RVshare as well as my credit card company!

RV was clean and spacious. Everything worked (lights, air, heat, refrigerator, etc.) with a regular electrical outlet. Delighted that it included supplies (dishes, toilet paper, towels, bedding, etc.). The RV rental process was not complicated at all and the 2-way messaging/communication between owner/renter was seamless.

Review:

Clint was terrific. Pick and drop off were timely and convenient. Everything was ready to rock and we were off. Pick up location is just a couple minutes off major freeway. The HC1 came as advertised. This is a lightweight, sweet-looking retro trailer. It's extremely simple and easy to haul. It may be too simple for some, as it is a basic shelter, small sink, stove and a tiny, smaller than a 12-pack electric fridge. If your plans are for longer than overnight or two, you will need to bring multiple coolers to store food and beverages. If you are completely off the grid, and remote, Clint has solar panels. We did not use, but the two car type batteries will likely run lights and sink pump motor enough for 24 hours. Can't really say. Check with Clint. We only rented for three nights and were staying where we could hook up. We did not cook, only slept and dressed inside. Go to the Happier Camper website for more info on this rig. Capsulate to say in terms of comfort and amenities this is one step above a sturdy tent. We did not use it, but Clint also offers a propane heater sufficient to make the rig toasty in cool to cold weather.
