SS Red Oak VictoryA US military Victory class cargo ship used during World War II, SS Red Oak Victory is a museum ship located in the National Historic Park. It was named after Red Oak, a tiny city in Iowa, which suffered a number of casualties not only during World War II, but in the Civil War as well. The ship is still undergoing restoration and has been turned into a museum. You can tour the ship and its compartments through a self-guided tour or a guided tour. It is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the history of the country and World War II.
