Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Be the domain specialist in marketing automation and full stack growth technology. Learn our existing platform landscape and find ways to improve it.
  • Form alliances with our data and product teams to drive adoption and implementation of growth strategies, marketing technology, and automation.
  • Execute marketing ideas and campaigns, advising the marketing team on how technology can be used to help reach marketing goals.

Who We're Looking For:

You have a strong sense of ownership of your work; you know and can articulate the trade-offs of each decision made around your work. You are a problem solver with good analytical skills.

  • Comfortable coding in full stack web frameworks and enjoy building beautiful websites in HTML, CSS, and Javascript (2+ years of experience). You’re familiar with modern development processes including using agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Github).

Content Marketing Intern

About the Role:

As a content marketing intern, you’ll be assisting our small editorial team. We work on driving more RV owners and renters to the RVshare platform by creating engaging and informative content. Our team also creates content to support the other marketing channels (email, social media, SEO, paid ads, events, partnerships). For this specific role you will mainly be assisting our content team and their efforts to bring traffic to our website and blog through various projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions and meetings
  • Edit & Create copy
  • Publish content across various CMS platforms (WordPress, Prismic, Contentful)
  • Maintain web pages to ensure they are accurate and up to date
  • Implement content audit action items
  • Condense articles and Interlink to relevant articles and landing pages
  • Refresh old content, check links and accuracy

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Marketing Partnerships Intern to join RVshare’s Marketing Team. As a part of the Marketing Partnerships Channel, you will learn how to acquire new customers and retain current customers by engaging partners around the country and getting them to promote RVshare.   The Marketing Partnerships Team collaborates with

other marketing channels (email, social media, brand content, SEO, paid ads, events) to help partners drive traffic to RVshare’s website.

DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

This role offers a great opportunity to enter on the ground level on our DevOps team. The ideal engineer will bring their experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help drive DevOps initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments. 
  • Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain business critical infrastructure and software to power the RVshare infrastructure. 
  • Identify manual processes that can be automated. 
  • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS. 
  • You will work closely with our engineers to refine your skill set and adhere to our coding standards and development practices.

Who We're Looking For:

A DevOps Engineer at RVshare is capable of solving problems and 

collaborating with all stakeholders. You should be results driven, efficient, and ready to be a contributor on a team in a growing business working with cutting edge technologies. 

  • At least 2 years of professional DevOps engineering experience. 
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Github Actions, or CircleCI. 
    Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS. 
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform, 
  • CloudFormation, or other tools.

Senior Engineer, Fraud and Safety

About the Role:

You will have ownership of the software, roadmap and strategy for our systems and tooling for fraud prevention and detection. You will work closely with our Operations Teams and other Software Engineering Teams to define the software improvements, features and processes needed to give our customers full confidence when they rent RVs on our platform.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

● A minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience. 

● A minimum of 1 years of Ruby on Rails experience, with an understanding of REST APIs and development of APIs using Ruby on Rails. 

● A minimum of 1 years of React experience, with an understanding of best practices used in React development

Software Engineering Manager

About the Role:

The Engineering Manager position is responsible for helping to direct a software development team in all phases of the software lifecycle. Our teams are responsible for full-stack development and consist of front-end, back-end and QA engineers. This position reports to the VP of Technology and involves frequent interactions with Product Managers and other software development teams.

● Mentoring, coaching and monitoring the performance of the software development team. 

● Ensuring the team is following prescribed processes and best practices to produce high-quality software.

Who We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have started their career as a software engineer and evolved to become an experienced manager, preferably in an agile, start-up environment. They should have the range to manage engineers, evaluate requirements, review technical designs and contribute in helping the company scale its engineering department. Public Relations Specialist

About the Role:

As the Public Relations Specialist at RVshare, you’ll be directly impacting how RVshare is perceived by the world. You’ll be joining a small in-house PR team with an agency of record. The team’s main goal is to raise awareness for RV travel and the RVshare brand. You’ll report into the Director of Comms & PR who leads our Brand group.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Raise brand awareness for RVshare via proactive national and regional outreach and inbound media inquiries, working closely with business partners across the company and external stakeholders 
  • Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns that earn strong media coverage around key company announcements and initiatives 
  • Grow and nurture long-term media relationships, constantly build new contacts; maintain consumer master media list 
  • Manage, plan and execute press trips for media and influencers to experience RV travel first-hand
  • Write or review copy for a variety of mediums such as strategy documents, press releases, advertorials, pitches, backgrounders, Q&As, etc. 
  • Be able to tell a story using data. Work closely with internal and external resources to mine for data to use in pitches and press releases 
  • Communicate with leadership, internal stakeholders, and RVshare customers to proactively seek new information for creative and impactful storytelling 
  • Conduct regular media analysis to keep your finger on the pulse of reporters covering the company and important/relatable industry topics 
  • Manage reporting and tracking coverage; track personal and team KPIs 
  • Work closely with RVshare’s agency of record and support their efforts by being their internal eyes and ears 
  • Submit RVshare for awards and accolades. Work with partners on case studies and cross-promotion initiatives

Brand Marketing Manager

About the Role:

As the Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll be directly impacting how we present RVshare to the rest of the world. You will be responsible for implementing our (new) brand architecture through planning and executing brand campaigns & partnerships. You’ll report into the Director of Comms & PR who leads our Brand group.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with brand stakeholders on implementing the brand strategy, brand identity and architecture across the company 
  • Work to build holistic campaigns for the RVshare brand including planning, strategy, communications, creative development, and execution 
  • Lead the festival and event activations and marketing strategy from creative to measurement to on-the-ground execution 
  • Develop and implement a strong brand measurement system to guide the team on what is successfully working and what is not. Consistently evaluate brand marketing programs for efficacy and efficiency to deliver strong results with maximum ROI
  • Develop plans to optimize creative assets across different channels to drive performance
  • Bring creative ideas to life in partnership with copywriters, videographers, and photographers
  • Create brand partnership programs by integrating with like-minded companies across content, stunts, events, and other activations
  • Determine media buying strategy and manage vendor relationships across TV/OTT, Radio, OOH, and streaming platforms 
  • Take ownership of RVshare’s visual identity by working closely with the team cross-functionally including third-party vendors to ensure consistency across consumer touchpoints 
  • Lead proactive assessment of competitive landscape and identify unique opportunities in order to constantly drive the growth of the business
