Therapod

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is responsible for 1 in every 10 acres of land in the U.S.

The Bureau of Land Management is responsible for nearly 22.8 million acres of land in Utah, including the spectacularly beautiful Therapod. When visiting BLM campsites, there are a few rules that campers should be aware of, such as having a valid permit if they plan on staying overnight. It would be best if you also stayed within designated areas and campsites. Additionally, visitors should practice the "Leave No Trace" principles when exploring the area to help protect this majestic landscape for future generations. You can locate BLM sites by searching "BLM camping near me." Therapod BLM Campsite is 40 miles southeast of Zion National Park in Utah. It is known for its well-preserved dinosaur tracks made by carnivorous bipedal dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus Rex and Velociraptor. RV travelers will find plenty of options for camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and other outdoor recreation opportunities. The area is known for its stunning desert landscapes and red sandstone formations. Because of its remote location, it also offers great views of the nearby Sand Mountain and some mesmerizing night sky views. The site is in a high desert country with elevations from 4,500 to 6,000 feet above sea level.
