Spacious, Well keep and maintained. Chase and his brother where very helpful and made himself available though our whole trip! Thanks!
My husband and I rented this trailer. The entire experience was wonderful. Very clean. Super comfy. We the pop out is awesome, the sleeping is awesome. We felt proud to pull up with this rig. so spacious. Thank you Troy, you were so thorough with your explanations.
Rig was in great mechanical shape and Manuel was great. Very easy to operate with simple control panel. I would rent this trailer again.
Fun RV with easy hookups and a nice size bed in the back. Ms. Wendy was a pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating and helpful. Our very first RV trip was a success! Thank you Wendy!
Sean, RV Owner, provided an easy, but professional rental experience. His coach was clean and in good working order. This was my first RV rental experience and thanks to Sean and his team, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Sean!
Overall experience was good. Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice a few hours cleaning. Mainly the restroom and and floor needed attention.
We booked this because it was listed as an owner renting out his personal RV and we know what it's like to take care of your personal items. However, this is not someone's personal RV. It is a business, which would have been fine if that is what was represented. But the representation that it is used by the owner is false. And the owner's profile picture on the listing is not accurate and was taken from a Camping book, totally unrelated to the owner. The RV was not clean when we picked it up and when we brought it home we had to clean it for about an hour before we could load the RV. The shower door was broken and there were many loose screws throughout the RV. Just wanted to let you know what you are getting. Know that if you think you are getting a deal, the price reflects the product.
Lorna and Sherry were absolutely great to work with. I wanted a 30' RV to take my family up the coast for about 5 days during the winter break. "Rita" was awesome. Fully stocked with everything we could ever need while on the trip. Pop outs worked great and provided ample space for the family. Sitting by the fire with the fantastic chairs that came with Rita were excellent. We will absolutely rent from Lorna and Sherry again!! Thanks again for such a great process and RV for our trip!
This is the second year we've rented this RV. Owners are super nice, easy to work with, great communication. Thank you!!!
We had an awesome time and everything was great with the RV and service from the owner Johnny!
Great communication with Lisa! Easy pick up and drop off. She even got her neighbor to pick us up and drop off at the airport for a great fee. We had only one issue. The DVD player didn't work. No big deal! Went to Walmart and brought a $30 one and it worked just fine.
As first time RV renters, it's compact size and maneuverability was perfect. John was quick to respond to any questions and at delivery Paul, John's mechanic, made certain we understood how to operate every inch of the RV. No problems. Super reliable. We had a blast and we will definitely rent again.
This RV was perfect for our trip to the desert where we dry-camped for 3 nights. It was just my husband and I and it met our needs well. We were very warm, comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Sam was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly, and accommodating.
Apologies for the late review...Our experience renting this RV was great and we had no issues at all on our trip.
Here is a list of the problems that occurred on my trip with this RV. 1. The entry door on the coach would not latch closed. I noticed the issue during the walk through when Alex was closing the door he had to slam it several times. When I was driving home to load up the RV the door flew open while on the road. The door had a spring loaded door so it would push open on its own. Whenever anyone of my family member would enter the coach they would have to slam the door several times to get it to latch. We could not latch the dead bolt either. When I spoke to Alex at RV share as he checked in the coach he said that this was an issue with the coach prior to me leaving. I only had Alex’s number and I requested that Martin give me a call several times throughout the day. He finally emailed me at 11:15 PM at night to tell me he will call me on Friday. I believe Martin was out of office. 2. We brought our own generator because we were dry camping. We had the generator running all day so the batteries should have been charging the whole time until late into the night before we would shut our personal Generator down for the night. The batteries were so bad the heater at night would only run for about an hour and then all power to the coach would be lost and this beeping sound would start until you get up and start the engine so we could start the generator and charge the batteries. The problem after the batteries would read as if they were full we would shut it down and about an hour later the beeping sound would return. We could not continue to run the Generator with all of the other campers around trying to sleep. The temperature was a freezing 34 degrees at night. We all froze our bottoms off the whole trip and could not sleep with the cold and constant beep. I can still here the Generator and the beeping right now while I am typing this review. ( When I went to pick up the RV Alex said had to start the generator because the battery were dead.) We also had a weird smell coming out of the heater at night to make matters even worse. (Alex said the smell was from the heater being new and unused we did not ever get rid of the smell our whole trip). Every night was miserable to say the least with all of the smells and beeps and being woken up from the cold all night long. 3. The Radio head unit went out in the first 15 minutes of our trip. That means zero music or any back up cameras the whole trip. 3.5 hours each way. The backup camera broke when I was leaving the RV yard. I called Alex over to show him and he took a picture of the backup camera not working. 4. Prior to renting the RV I spoke with Martin at RV share several times about where I was going what I was doing on my trip. I asked him if it was fine to bring my dog and he said yes the “RV is pet friendly”. I also asked him if the coach had a trailer hitch because I am going to the desert and I have to tow my maverick. Martin told me that the “coach has a hitch and that was fine also”. I also explained to Martin that I was coming back on January 1st and he told me they were closed and unable to check in coach. He then said let me check with his management and see if I could still dropped it off on the first so I will not be charged for an extra day. If I would have been charged it would have been a deal breaker. This conversation was at 10 am in the morning. I waited until about 4pm to follow up with Martin and he said it was approved and that I could bring it back on the first. I went and booked the RV that day. One week after I booked the RV Martin sent me a email to notify me “Hello Chad, Thanks for your reservation. However, it has a return date of 1/1/19. I had indicated in my email 7 days ago that the return date should be 1/2/19 as we are closed on 1/1. You can see the mail message below. Please revise the reservation and price with RVShare to returning on 1/2/19. I will hold the motor home for you until this Thursday, 12/13, to give you time to make the change. Thank you I replied immediately with email below. Hello Martin, Please give me a call 714-xxx-xxxx you and I spoke the afternoon that I booked the coach and you had ask that I be able to bring it back on the 1st. You said it was approved. That is the reason I waited until the afternoon to book the coach. please call me. I called Martin Immediately to remind him of our conversation and he said he forgot and I was fine to return it on the 1st. I kept my reservation and proceeded with rental. The day I picked up the RV I told Alex that he forgot to take off the plastic piece that was on the trailer hitch so could hook up my trailer. Alex said for me to just pull it off and that I was good to go. This was at 10 am the day before we were leaving that I paid an extra day just so I could load the RV with our stuff. That night I get this email and then phone call from Martin; HI Chad, Alex just reported to me that you were planning to tow with the RV, and that I had ok'd it. I don't have any record that I did that. Can you refresh my memory by sending me the email discussing it? We don't allow towing on that coach because of the rear ramp and that the coach does not have a break controller. We also always require the trailer to be brought to us to inspect before approving any towing. Also, your insurance through RVShare does not cover the RV nor the trailer when towing. I just can’t recall or imagine my approving your towing with all these red flags. Your contract with RVShare also specifically prohibits towing and considers it a breach of the Agreement. Please call me. Thank you I did not see this email come through as I was loading and getting ready to leave at 5am. Martin gave me a call and proceeded to tell me everything that is in the email above. At that time I reminded Martin of the phone calls we had prior to me renting the coach explaining great detail exactly what I was doing and got his approval.. Martin then told me that I need to be very careful because I do not have insurance on the coach. He said that the policy I had for 220.00 dollars with RV share for four days was in breach of contract and that I do not have insurance. This conversation happens the night before I am leaving while the coach is loaded and ready to go at 5 am. I have way too much to lose to not have insurance. I called my insurance broker and had to open a policy for 180.00 dollars more so I was covered. I spoke with several other owners at RV share and none of them told me that towing would void the insurance? The reason I picked this expensive RV was it was a 2019 and the RV took care of all of my needs. I emailed several other owners and this one seemed to be the best one for my family. Unfortunately this was the worst experience I have ever had with a RV rental. I have been renting RVs at least twice a year for the last 15 years and I have never experienced anything like this time. I only had Alex’s number saved in my phone and I requested that Martin give me a call several times throughout the day on January 2nd. Here is the email through RV share I sent to Martin Martin, Will you please give me a call 714-xxx-xxxx. I have a lot to go over with you about my family vacation. I have asked Alex to have you call me and told him about all of the problems with the RV. Thanks! Chad He finally emailed me at 11:15 PM at night to tell me he will call me on Friday. Hi Chad I am out of the office Thursday and back in the office Friday. I will call you then. Could you send me your comments about what you feel went wrong. It will help me do my homework to prepare to address them. That would help. Thanks Martin I did not want to put this all down on the review but, you asked me to list them all. This is the first review I have ever posted I hope this will be the last I have called Martin several times and still have spoke to him since January 1st. This is very frustrating
Carol and Mike were just amazing. Very helpful and easy to communicate with. It was our first RV trip and Mike explained everything to us so we didn’t have to worry. The RV was clean and was accommodated with absolutely everything. The RV functioned like new and was easy to operate. You dont need to bring anything but your clothes and groceries. We are planning another trip during spring and we will only rent from them. Thank you Carol and Mike!
Super clean and modern, easy to maneuver and drive, and all the bells and whistles you could want for the perfect glamping experience!
Sergio was easy to deal with and very accommodating. RV was just as described and fit our family of 5 perfectly. Look forward to our next trip with it!
Great experience, easy to deal with. Would definitely use again. This was our first experience and was awesome.
Hiro’s Meerkat was pretty much brand new when my fiancée and I rented it over Christmas 2018, and it was perfect for the two of us, even in Bryce Canyon, which got down to -4F at night – just make sure you bring your own portable space heater, which can be plugged into the outlet by the sink, so long as you hook the trailer up. The trailer is so light, it hardly affected our gas mileage in our Tacoma, too. Hiro is a pleasure to communicate with, and very responsive to calls, text, and email!
Gina and Bruce were great to rent from and very flexible on pickup/ drop off to work with our schedule. Awesome experience and hope to rent from them again!
Honrad was easy to deal with and made the whole experience effortless. Pick up and drop off were a breeze. RV was easy to park and handle and had plenty of room for our needs. Nice interior.
Beware of undisclosed hidden fees charged against your security deposit. After returning the van, and after Escape staff person checked the van and determined it was undamaged, they provided me a receipt. After we left the facility, they charged a cleaning fee against my deposit, claiming it was their policy to charge a $150 cleaning fee because we traveled with a dog. Nowhere in the Escape Contract or on RV Share is this charge mentioned.
Everything went great renting this trailer! Extremely light, very comfortable and the flexible pickup and drop off times helped a lot.
Great RV with plenty of room for the family. The RV is fully equipped with everything you need including camping chairs, BBQ and cooking utensils. Highly recommend and hope to rent again in the future.
