How To Get To Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park

To get to the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park from Interstate 5, exit just south of Dunnigan onto I-505. Head south on I-505 to Vacaville. Take Exit 1A to I-80 West. Follow I-80 West into Richmond. Take Exit 15 for Cutting Boulevard and merge onto Cutting Boulevard. Turn left onto Marina Way South. Travel down to Wright Avenue and turn right again. Turn left onto Harbour Way South and follow it to the park.

The Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park is a great honor to the women and men who worked behind the scenes during World War II. The park also includes the Rosie the Riveter Memorial. They offer a visitor center that is packed with information, as well as rangers and docents who lead tours and answer questions. On Fridays, you can visit with actual home-front workers. This area is also full of coastal beauty, with a number of parks featuring stunning views and wildlife. To get the most from your visit, take the trip in an RV so you can move freely between all the museums and parks and enjoy all that the Richmond area has to offer.
