How to get to Lassen Volcanic National Park
Lassen Volcanic National Park is nearly halfway between Sacramento and Reno, NV. To get from Sacramento International Airport to the park, drive west on Route 5. When you reach Red Bluff, CA, turn northeast on Route 36, also known as Antelope Boulevard. At the junction with Route 99, Route 36 continues north. Follow it in that direction until you reach the junction with Route 89. Drive north on Route 89 and follow the signs for Lassen Volcanic National Park. When driving to Lassen Volcanic National Park from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, begin by driving north on Route 580. At the next clover leaf, follow the signs for Route 395, which you will take north. At Hallelujah Junction, turn west on Route 70. Route 70 and Route 89 run concurrently north of Quincy, CA. Continue on this road until Route 89 branches off to the north while Route 70 continues west. Follow Route 89 north. You will reach Route 36, onto which you will turn west. Route 36 will take you to Lassen Volcanic National Park.
