Reaching this park is easy because it is located 17 miles northwest of Las Cruces, 39 miles northwest of White Sands, 208 miles south of Albuquerque, and 71 miles northeast of Deming, New Mexico.

How to Get to
Leasburg Dam State Park

It is fairly straightforward to get to Leasburg Dam State Park from Las Cruces, New Mexico. Get on Interstate 25 and follow it northwest to the Fort Selden exit. Turn left to get onto Fort Selden Road. Go about one mile and turn right on Leasburg Park Road. You will see the park in about 0.5 miles.

Entering Leasburg Dam State Park

Leasburg Dam State Park is open Thursday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some campsites are only available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call the park for details.
