When you think of Georgia, you probably picture peach trees, bayous, and of course, Atlanta. From the Blue Ridge Mountains in the north to the coastal communities in the southeast, Georgia is truly a diverse state. If the picturesque landscape doesn’t pique your interest, the food certainly will. Southern classics like shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, and peach cobbler will have your mouth watering all day long. There are plenty of ways to spend your vacation too, whether relaxing down on the bayou or trying to keep up in the fast-paced city of Atlanta.
Georgia is a popular RV destination due to its variety of attractions and natural beauty. The Blue Ridge Mountains, in particular, are a big draw as they’re considered one of the most scenic and drivable mountain ranges in the country. There’s also a wealth of highly-rated campgrounds, offering everything from luxury camping to no-frills boondocking in the wilderness. If you’re ready to start planning your trip, check out our list of the top RV parks in Georgia. Because of the state’s popularity, it has also become a hotspot for RV shows. There are several shows throughout the year, where manufacturers go to show off the newest and the best in RVs and RV technology. We’ve rounded up a list of the top RV shows in the state.
Georgia RV & Camper Show
First on the list is the Georgia RV & Camper Show. There are two shows each year: a fall and a spring show. Both shows take place at the Cobb Galleria Centre, just a few minutes west of the Chattahoochee River. It’s about 20 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta, close enough for a quick trip to the city, but far from the late-night noise and energy. The Centre is a gorgeous facility that includes a performing arts building, a four-star hotel, a selection of restaurants, and a mall connected by a pedestrian sky bridge. If you’re staying in an RV, there’s a spacious RV park just a few minutes to the north, in Marietta.
What You’ll Love About the Georgia RV & Camper Show
Though both shows are popular, the fall show tends to attract a bigger crowd, as guests have a chance to shop year-end sales and see previews of upcoming models for the following year. This show is the biggest indoor show in Georgia and features RVs of all types, including gas and diesel motorhomes. It’s a one-stop shop where you can trade in your current RV and even get financing on site. There are several educational seminars throughout the weekend, which is great for newbies and buyers researching different types of RVs.

The Peach State Awaits You
Georgia may not have a ton of RV shows, but it does have a lot of choices! With three shows in one month, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to shop around, learn about the year’s newest RVs, and get the best show-only deals. But don’t just plan to stay in Atlanta the whole time – Georgia is an RV traveler’s dream, so make sure to get out and explore everything the state has to offer. Whether you’re a foodie, an outdoor enthusiast, or an amateur anthropologist, Georgia has more than enough experiences for every interest!
Many RVers take advantage of the opportunity to trade in their RVs at an RV show. However, RV shows also offer a great way to learn about different RVs before making a purchase. If you’re dreaming of buying an RV or are in the preliminary research phase, it’s important to try out a few different RVs before you make a decision. One of the best ways to do this is by renting an RV and testing it out in real life; not just at the dealership or RV show. Check out our inventory of available RV rentals in Georgia. You’ll find affordable rentals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Happy trails!
