Located nearly six miles from Capitol Reef National Park, Thousand Lakes RV Park in Torrey is also close to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, National Scenic Byway 12, Goblin Valley, and Bryce Canyon. Hiking, fishing, mountain biking, ATV riding, and leisurely drives are all available within minutes. Even during peak season, visitors won’t find crowds because the resort’s location isn’t as well-known as other sites in Southern Utah. The resort has it all, including a full-service RV park with 65-foot pull-through sites, immaculate restrooms, a playground, a basketball court, satellite hookups, and stunning views. The park even serves scratch-made BBQ dinners and fresh morning muffins at the outdoor pavilion.

Mountain Valley RV Resort

Mountain Valley RV Resort, located in scenic Heber City, has some of the best luxury RV campgrounds in the western United States. This family-friendly resort is located just off Highway 40 only 45 minutes east of Salt Lake City and 20 minutes south of Park City. RV campers here have access to full-hookup sites, heated pools and hot tubs, an exercise room, laundry facilities, and private bathrooms and showers. A basketball, pickleball, and volleyball court is also on-site, and there’s a gift shop with wireless internet.
