Planning your Pete's Draw Campground BLM trip

If you plan on camping at Pete's Draw Campground, remember that you will be staying at a primitive campground, so you will need to bring all of the water you will need. You may also benefit from packing insect repellent since this area can be quite heavy with mosquitoes and flies, and you will want to have warm layers, like jackets and blankets, to use at night. Check the weather forecast before you leave, too, to see if you will need to bring rain gear, like rain boots and coats, ponchos, and outdoor camping tarps and covers. When you stay at Bureau of Land Management campgrounds, you won't have any amenities, like electricity. However, you will have better access to rivers and trails that are difficult to reach from other campgrounds. To locate BLM sites in your area, conduct an internet search for "BLM camping near me," and before you head out on your trip, check out our blog for all you need to know about BLM camping.
