Riverview Campground

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is responsible for 1 in every 10 acres of land in the U.S.

The Bureau of Land Management preserves public land for business development, environmental protection, and recreation. In the area around Morenci, Arizona, the BLM provides all three services in one region. The Safford BLM District Office manages mineral rights access on public land for one of the largest copper mines in North America. They also manage the Gila Box Riparian National Conservation Area just a few miles away. Riparian habitats amid a desert are some of the most fragile natural ecosystems.

The Riverview Campground is located in the middle of the Gila Box RNCA. It provides an excellent kicking-off point for taking advantage of all the area offers. The contrast of the riparian habitat against the Arizona desert is an extraordinary wilderness experience.
