They offer private and group tours at no cost on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Sacramento Valley Museum contains history from the mid-19th through the mid-20th century. Some exhibits honor those who served in the military dating back to Civil War times to the present.

How to Get to
Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area

From Colusa, head east on Highway 45, also known as Market Street. Take a left onto Sixth Street and follow past Rocco's Bar & Grill. Make another left at Main Street and continue past the Colusa Levee Scenic Park. Next, follow signs that guide you to the Colusa-Sacramento River State Recreation Area. All major highways and roads leading up to the river are well-designed for maneuvering RVs through the curves. Once you've reached the river, you'll proceed on the roads that lead to the campground; the roads are well-maintained and wide enough to move an RV through safely.
