Located in Elgin, Paul Wolff Campground has 89 spaces with electrical hookups, water connections, and a fire pit. These spaces are available for $20 per day, and reservations cannot be made in advance. The campground is well-suited for horse lovers with equestrian sites, horse trails, and other amenities available. The trails are also popular with bicyclists, hiker, and joggers. Fishing and a variety of winter activities are offered nearby. 

State Parks Near Palatine, Illinois

Big Foot Beach State Park sits on Lake Geneva’s shoreline close to the border between Illinois and Wisconsin. With placid water, green grasslands, and beautiful shade trees, the landscape is idyllic. During the warmer months of the year, this state park is a popular spot for picnicking, camping, and hiking along its five miles of trails. National Sites Near Palatine, Illinois

Situated in Chicago, the Pullman National Monument is a planned industrial community that was built in 1880 by George Pullman.
