Located in the Feltville Historic District of Union City, New Jersey, The Deserted Village was a small farming community that now consists of eight abandoned houses, a church, and a carriage house. Pamphlets can be picked up on-site, or you can get one online for self-guided walking tours of the district that explain the history of this unique location. Three spooky ghosts are said to haunt the house at the end of the path, so make sure to pay them a visit.

National Aquarium

At the National Aquarium in Baltimore, you'll explore a variety of aquatic exhibits with over 20,000 animals to view. You can have a few unforgettable experiences on the Shark Catwalk Tour, the Private Dolphin Tour, and the Private Reptile Encounter. Must-see areas of the aquarium are Black Tip Reef, Jellyfish Invasion, Shark Alley, Amazon River Forest, and Australia: Wild Extremes.

Museum of the Bizarre

Museum of the Bizarre is a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Fayetteville to Wilmington that's definitely worth the slight detour. Here, you can see oddities that include a Bigfoot imprint, a unicorn horn, Houdini's Ouija board, ghost deer, and Alexander Hamilton's hair. You can also test your skills in the Laser Vault Room and navigate your way through the Mirror Maze if you dare.

New York, New York
