The Ave Maria Grotto in Alabama was built by Benedictine monk Brother Joseph Zoetl at the site of the former St. Bernard Abbey on 4 sprawling acres of wooded land. While you're here, you can snap some unforgettable photos and marvel at the incredible detail of Brother Joseph's handiwork. The Abbey Cemetery and Grotto Gift Shop are available as well.
