This race - the 60th running of the Coca-Cola 600 - is the perfect way to spend Memorial Day weekend! There will be family-friendly entertainment including a program saluting military heroes, and a concert featuring Cheap Trick. And of course, there will also be the thrills and excitement of the races themselves!
6pm, May 26: Start of the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600
Fans can make the whole weekend surrounding a NASCAR race a lot of fun! Guests are allowed to bring in one 14x14x14-inch soft-sided cooler or school backpack with food and beverages (alcohol is allowed, but no glass containers). RV camping is a great way to experience a NASCAR event! You get a unique, up-close view of all the action, and have all your food, drinks, and other necessities just a few steps away. There are nine RV campgrounds and one tent campground to choose from at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, including a Family Campground with a quiet time observance for sleepy children (and adults!). Whether you own a motorhome or use a rental from RVshare, RV camping is a great way to travel for a Supercross event! You’ll be able to spend all day at the races, then head back to your own quiet retreat, with food and other comforts of home.
If you decide not to camp, there are plenty of hotels in the area as well. You can find hotels recommended by the Charlotte Speedway here. You can often find good deals on travel sites like Expedia or Travelocity as well.
From the south: Take Exit 49 off I-85 (Bruton Smith Boulevard). At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Bruton Smith Boulevard and travel approximately 1 mile. The Charlotte Motor Speedway is located at the intersection of US 29 and Bruton Smith Blvd.

There is free parking surrounding the entire speedway. You can find a parking map here to help you plan where to go.
Tickets can be purchased online. There are a variety of different options, from individual tickets to fan experiences you can purchase for the weekend!
