Lake Wateree State Park Campground has 99 camping spots, with 72 for RVs, and the campground is open year-round. Twenty-eight of these sites feature full hookups, and the rest have electricity and water. Fifty of the camping spots can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet long. Other amenities include fire pits, grills, picnic tables, playgrounds, drinking water, flush toilets, a dump station, hot showers, and trash collection services. How to Get to
Lake Wateree State Park
From Winnsboro, head north on US-321 BUS N/N Congress Street toward West College Street. Turn right at SC-200 West. Continue onto SC-200 East, then take a slight right onto Old River Road/State Road S-20-41. Take a slight left onto US-21 North. Turn right onto River Road/State Road S-20-101. Turn left onto State Park Road, and the park entrance will be on the left.
Entering Lake Wateree State Park
There is parking available at the main entrance and near the boat ramp. The park's operating hours are from sunrise to sunset, and the office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. All campers must check in at 2 p.m., checkout is noon the following day, and the maximum stay is 14 days.
