What People Are Saying About Pleasant Acres Farm Campground

“My wife, two kids and I came here for our first camping trip with our new trailer. We got a full hook-up wooded site that was in the back and we loved it! The site was great, and the campground is surprisingly quiet…with the exception of our kids! It’s a great campground and we plan on returning to the same site in September!”
– Brad, from Google Review

“I’ve been going here for a few years now, and I love it here. I’m only taking away the one star because they got rid of the cows in the center of the camping area. Otherwise, the facilities are clean, and they have friendly employees and great ice cream. They also have very fun activities (live music, crafts and games) for everyone.”

“Very quiet clean and BEAUTIFUL…..the owner and the workers very attentive.”
– Luis, from Google Review

“Great campground, great owner and great staff. There is a pool, lake, clubhouse, nearby shopping center, and is not too far from NYC. During the summer, there are a lot of families buzzing about. The owner and staff go to great lengths to keep everyone happy. People that cause trouble for other campers are warned, and if they don’t follow the rules, are asked to leave. Some of them leave nasty reviews here, which is a shame. The campground is a peaceful and family-friendly place, but you can’t have a nice place and also let trouble-makers run amok.”

What People Are Saying About Liberty Harbor RV Park

“We could not have picked a better place to park our RV for our visit to NYC. It was extremely convenient to public transportation; the ferries and the light PATH were about 10 minutes walking distance from the Park, as were many restaurants and services. The nearby Hudson River Walk is close and it was along there we had a spectacular view of Manhattan at sunset. It was fun to be able to tell our family and friends that we could see the Statue of Liberty from our campsite. I agree that the campground was not much more than a parking lot with hook-ups, but it was clean, well managed, and in the perfect location. The staff was very responsive to our needs and gave us great advice and information about getting around. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for another stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to park their RV or camper when visiting NYC.”
– Nancy, from Google Review

“Liberty Harbor is a great way to visit NYC and the surrounding area… Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived later when the office was closed and received great reception from the security guards that are there 24/7. I was a little nervous on what to expect when we got there but there were no issues. Even getting to the location through the city wasn’t too bad and we have a 35′ travel trailer. I think most of the negative comments are due to expectations of a campground or something more glamorous but if you are looking to explore the area this is perfect. Local bar and restaurant, Surf City, is pretty good as well. We also had 3 kids in tow and they liked it too.”

“We stayed here one night to kick off our summer camping season. The staff helped us back up our trailer and also accommodated us on a very easy to back up site (as we were new). The folks are very down to earth. It is a very comfortable campground. Kids were really happy and comfortable. The pool, the playground and all the available amenities are remarkable. I would definitely stay here again. I would also definitely recommend this place to my friends. I believe because of this place and the folks we are more eager now than before to go out camping with our recently purchased travel trailer. Last but not least this campground is not at all congested – we were very comfortable maneuvering our truck and trailer through the campground when we first came and also when we left. Thank you!”
– Fehmeed, from Google Review

“We loved this place. We stayed a week and a half. They have the biggest pool my kids have ever seen. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They had activities scheduled. My whole family was sad to leave when it was time to go to the next job. They have a campsite, dog park, playground and 2 laundry rooms and all the washers and dryers worked really well.”
