Inside Harrison Lake State Park

Inside Harrison Lake State Park are several hiking trails totaling 3.5 miles, giving visitors a chance to take a scenic walk through the woodlands and lakeshore area. The park features a 150-foot swimming beach where you can go swimming in designated areas, build a sandcastle, or relax. The 105-acre lake is ideal for fishing and catching bluegill, northern pike, and largemouth bass in addition to carp, crappie, smallmouth bass, and bullhead catfish. Late season waterfowl hunting is allowed on the lake but not along the shoreline. Other activities you can enjoy inside the state park are RV camping, picnicking, disc golf, and bicycling. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing, sledding, or ice fishing.

How to Get to
Harrison Lake State Park

Coming from Fayette, you will want to head west on US-20 West/East Main Street toward North Fayette. Continue on US-20 West for about two miles, and then, make a left onto Co Road 26. Travel for 1.8 miles, and then turn right toward Harrison Lake Road. Follow it to the state park.
