Inside Delaware State Park

There are many things inside the state park, starting with the five hiking trails that connect the lakeshore with the four campsite areas. You'll be able to observe the transecting meadows, wetlands, and woodland areas. After your long hike, take a dip in the 800-foot public beach swimming area or relax on the sandy beach and take in the rays. The huge reservoir features three boat ramps where visitors can launch a boat and try their luck at catching smallmouth bass, crappie, muskie, and largemouth bass. Wildlife watching, picnicking, cross-country skiing, and disc golf are few other activities inside the state park.

How to Get to
Delaware State Park

When traveling from Delaware, Ohio, you'll need to head east on Marysville Road/West William Street toward North Sandusky Street. Continue to follow West William Street before turning left onto North Union Street. Go a small distance and turn right onto East Central Avenue. Merge left onto US23 North toward Marion. Follow for about 5.5 miles, and then turn right into Delaware State Park.
