The Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area, managed by American Land and Leisure, is located along the Sacramento River near Vina, California. While you can see many valley oak trees located a short distance off Interstate 5 near Corning, California, you can also find over 100 different plant species. This park is located about 100 miles north of Sacramento between the Mendocino National Forest and the Plumas National Forest, and you can see Mount Shasta, Mount Lassen and the Trinity Alps in the background when you visit this park containing one of the last native riparian habitats in the state.

How to Get to
Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area
Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area is located 2.6 miles southwest of Vina, California. Head south on Rowles Road until you reach South Avenue, which is also California 99. Turn right and drive about three minutes, and the park will be on your right.
From Corning, California, take Third Street and turn right on Solano Street. Immediately turn right again onto Second Street. Turn right in one-half mile onto Fig Lane, immediately turn left on Kirkwood Road and take another immediate left onto South Avenue. Continue on South Avenue until you reach the park.
