Class B campervans are smaller, which makes them easy to drive and allows you to fit in just about any campsite. However, because they are so small, they can only be used if you’re traveling solar, or with a very small family. You can rent a Class B campervan near Jacksonville for about $195, though you’ll find some hidden gems on the RVshare site for less. Renting for a week will cost $185 per night, and for a month is $150 a night.

Class C campers are the best of both worlds - more room than a Class B campervan, but with some of the amenities of a Class A motorhome. You can rent a nice Class C camper for $199 per night, or $180 a night for a week. You’ll pay $170 a night when you rent for a month.

Welcome to Rockville is an annual event held at the Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville. Since 2011, it has showcased modern and classic rock, as well as metal bands. It is one of the largest concerts of its kind in the country, with an estimated 90,000 people flocking to the event in 2018 alone.

Dump Stations

There are plenty of dump stations scattered around Jacksonville, most in conjunction with campgrounds or storage facilities. Some places that offer camper rentals in Jacksonville will also have dumpsites. Most of these facilities are free to use if you're already staying there, though even outsiders are allowed to use their stations for a small fee of around $20 in most cases. Highways & Airports near Jacksonville

There's a number of inter- and intrastate highways that can help you in getting around with your Jacksonville RV rental. SR 8, for example, leads up from Alabama right into the city, while SR 9A from I-95 traverses through the city.

If you want to fly to the city, Jacksonville International Airport is 13 miles north of downtown. It has one terminal building with two concourses for arrivals and departures. Many major airlines fly in and out of Jacksonville including American, Southwest, and United Airlines.
