Knott's Berry Farm

One of the most visited places in Southern California; the Knott’s Berry Farm is a 160-acre theme park which provides hours of thrill, fun and adventure. It used to be a berry farm established by Walter Knott. He eventually built several shops where they sold their produce, pies, jellies and jams. It was also the site of Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant, which became very popular. Walter Knott then built a replica Ghost Town in 1940 and added more attractions through the years, and in 1968, he started charging admission. The park was eventually sold and the new owner, Cedar Fair, added new rides and attractions. The Theme Park features family rides, children’s rides, roller coasters, thrill rides, live entertainment, dining and shopping. Knott’s Berry Farm is open daily except Christmas Day.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Located in the unincorporated Universal City community of the San Fernando Valley, the Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park and a film studio, which draws in thousands of tourists annually. It was established to offer tours of the Universal Studios soundstages and sets but it grew leaps and bounds. Today, aside from its studios where you can watch shows being filmed, the Theme Park features numerous rides, retail stores, live entertainment, restaurants, and movie theaters. You can also have your picture taken with your favorite movie characters that roam around the park such as Captain America, Marilyn Monroe, Dora the Explorer, Wolverine, and Popeye, to name a few. Seaworld San Diego

Founded in 1964, the Seaworld San Diego is an oceanarium, animal theme park, marine mammal park and outside aquarium all rolled into one beautiful and amazing park. It features 14 exhibits, 10 rides, 26 animal habitats, 12 shows some of which are seasonal, 9 premier experiences, and 2 play areas. It has 6 restaurants where you can dine at, 4 snack bars where you can have some cake, sandwiches smoothies and ice cream, and 13 shops where you can buy unique gift items and souvenirs. Seaworld San Diego offers visitors the chance to learn about sea life in a fun-filled creative way. The park is open daily.

The event includes sampling of participating businesses’ signature dishes, unlimited beer from over 20 breweries, custom photo booth, live entertainment, vendors, and much more. Palm Springs International Film Festival

One of the most popular and prestigious festivals in the country, the Palm Springs International Film Festival features more than 180 films from over 70 countries showcasing the very best in the world of movies. It is an 11-day event held at Palm Spring every January. Thousands of film buffs travel to Palm Springs to enjoy movies that they might not be able to see in commercial theaters. Aside from watching movies of different genres, the film festival holds public programs, which are open to the public where film buffs can interact with filmmakers and critics.
