Mount Rainier National Park is well laid out and has numerous trails. The trails at the park are well-marked and easy to follow, and the few facilities in the park are well-kept. The drive to the park is very scenic, with a great view of the falls driving into the park and a great view of Mount Rainier through most of the park. North Cascades National Park is located approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes away from Lake Stevens, Washington. This park is home to the second-largest glacier in the contiguous United States, as well as waterfalls, alpine meadows, and old-growth forests.
Located just 25 minutes from Seattle, Scenic Beach State Park is a great spot to camp with your RV. Enjoy the scenic view of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains. Located on Puget Sound in northern Washington State, Fort Casey State Park lies between Seattle and Tacoma. This 2,700-acre park is home to 3 historic forts: Fort Casey, Fort Flagler, and Admiralty Head Lighthouse. The park is also a popular fishing spot with anglers who seek salmon and halibut in the surrounding waters.

The most famous of Olympic National Park's four rainforest valleys, the Hoh is one of the finest remaining examples of temperate rainforest in the United States and is one of the park's most popular destinations.

Kitsap Memorial State Park is a 58-acre camping park with 1797 feet of saltwater shoreline on the Kitsap Peninsula on the Hood Canal. The Kitsap Memorial State Park is just a couple of miles from Lake Stevens. This park commemorates the USS "Arizona" and all those who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor. The Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park tells the story of the famous gold rush that took place in Alaska during the 1890s. The North Cascades National Park Service Complex offers a glimpse into America's past, as well as stunning views of nature. It’s a small park that was a wonderful place to stay versus the big parks in Poulsbo. Very wooded and private sites with clean facilities and a beautiful walk to the beach. Easy entry after hours with a nice self pay at the gate for RV or camp sites.
