Love folklife? Then the Kutztown Folk Festival is a must-visit! Located in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, it’s the oldest, continuously operated folklife festival in America. The nine-day festival began in 1950, and has been drawing visitors from all over the world since. Visitors experience music, entertainment, the largest quilt sale in America and much more. This festival has been featured twice in National Geographic and was once called “one of the most unique festivals on the East coast” by the Washington Post. Kutztown Folk Festival tickets can be purchased online, but please note that those purchased online will be mailed to your billing or shipping address, so purchase online in advance. Tickets are available at the walk-in gate as well. The gate will accept Visa and MasterCard, but all other gates accept cash only.
