For more than 15 years, the M3 Rock Festival has celebrated '80s rock by bringing some of the biggest names of the decade to Columbia, Maryland. Throughout the legendary festival’s history, the event has hosted guests from all 50 states, six continents, and more than 50 nations. Taking an RV to the festival is a great way for metal heads, festival goers, and first-time RV travelers to get the most out of their experience. ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
M3 Rock Festival provides many 80s rock performances, and the venue features video screens for optimal viewing of these performances. On-site is a music pinball arcade and a sculpture garden that honors Dolly Parton, Tina Turner, and Jimi Hendrix.
ON-SITE AMENITIES
M3 Rock Festival offers food trucks and vendors with a variety of cuisines. Guests can also bring their own food to the event, but they can't bring outside beverages. Small blankets and lawn chairs are provided for seating purposes. The venue has restrooms throughout the property in convenient locations, and there is a large on-site kitchen.

Centrally located between Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C., Columbia, MD has been home to the M3 Rock Festival for more than 15 years. The Merriweather Post Pavilion, located at 10475 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Columbia, MD 21044, is tucked away in 40 acres of parkland known as Symphony Woods. For more than 50 years, the Merriweather Post Pavilion has allowed music lovers to connect with nature while enjoying some of the biggest names in the music industry. There are plenty of campgrounds in Maryland. Here are some that are close to the festival: • Washington D.C./Capitol KOA Holiday: Roughly 20 minutes from the venue, this KOA campground is suitable for RVs of all sizes and offers full hookups, Wi-Fi, and other on-site amenities. • Ramblin’ Pines Campground: One-hundred and ninety of the 200 RV campsites offer full hookups. This campground is roughly 20 miles from the Merriweather Post Pavilion. • Brunswick Family Campground: The furthest option, the Brunswick Family Campground, is more than 50 miles from the venue. This campground has 55 RV sites with 30- or 50-amp electrical service. However, only four of the sites have full hookups.
RV Rental Tips for the M3 Rock Festival
Tickets go quickly for this event, so you’ll want to grab your tickets and make your RV reservations early. Depending on which campground you choose, you may need to book early if you want a full-hookup campsite. Since there are three campgrounds within driving distance to the venue, you can choose everything from basic RVs to larger Class C RVs.

HOW TO GET THERE
From Baltimore/Washington International Airport: Head south on Terminal Road toward Elm Road. Turn left onto Elm Road. Merge onto Friendship Road. Keep right to stay on Friendship Road. Friendship Road turns slightly right and becomes I-195 West. Take exit 4B to merge onto I-95 South toward Washington. Take exit 38B to merge onto MD-32 West toward Columbia. Take exit 16A to merge onto US-29 North toward Columbia/Town Center. Use the right lane to take exit 18 to merge onto Broken Land Parkway toward West Columbia Town Center/East Oakland Mills/Owen Brown. Use the right lane to merge onto Broken Land Parkway. Turn right. Turn left onto Merriweather Drive. Turn right onto Dennis Lane to arrive at the festival.
PARKING
All ticket holders need to pre-select their parking once tickets have been purchased. Just head straight to your designated parking area when you arrive. You'll receive a parking ticket when you buy your tickets.
