Oak Ridge Campground is located in Prince William Forest Park about 25 minutes from Fredericksburg. Trailers and fifth wheels are limited to up to 26 feet in length and 12 feet in height, and motorhomes are limited to up to 32 feet in length and 12 feet in height. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, grill, and lantern post, and the park features clean restrooms with hot showers.
The campsites at Oak Ridge are private and wooded. This destination is a favorite of RVers because of its tranquil setting in the gorgeous 15,000-acre state park. Evening ranger programs and campfire talks take place on summer weekends at the park’s amphitheater.
“This place is wonderful. Bathrooms are clean. Water tastes good. They have showers at one of the bathrooms that are free and good water temps (bring sandals and soap). They provide free firewood, but it isn’t dried, so if it is raining, go to the 711 down the road and buy some. A table and fire ring are provided at every site.” – Rachel, Google Review
