“We truly enjoyed Maumee Bay State Park. Well-maintained campground, asphalt paved roads, and trailer parking pads. RV dump station was nicely set up with quick connect hoses provided by campground. Bathroom/showers were clean. Appreciated laundry facilities, sink, washers, dryers– even a folding table! We enjoyed the wetlands boardwalk, nature center nearby. Lots of deer, bird, and wildlife sightings. Only improvement suggestion: please make more recycling options available. Friendly camp office personnel and nice camp store. “Super nice state park! Camping in a tab trailer, but if the other members of our extended family were with us this weekend, there would have been PLENTY of room to set up their tents on the same site. Some spots are a bit sunny, but others have medium to larger trees. There was room to put a rope out for a good-sized dog run. Lots of multi-use trails. The beach looked lovely, but signs were posted – no swimming due to high bacteria count. All in all, we had a great weekend even with the rain!”
