Big Basin Redwoods State Park is California’s very first state park, founded way back in 1902. Located deep in the magnificent redwoods of northern California, amidst of some of the tallest trees in the country, there is plenty of nature to be had right at your doorstep. You can follow countless trails both long and short from the campgrounds.
This is one of the country’s most astounding natural sights. The park contains trees taller than the Statue of Liberty, predating the Roman Empire. The Big Basin Redwoods State Park Campgrounds give you the chance to sleep surrounded by these giants.
