This was our first time using/towing an RV trailer and Johan's walk-through of the way everything works was exceptional. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything very well to make me comfortable. Johan also included a PDF of trailer how-to's that made the walk-through information easy to understand.
This was an awesome trailer and it was almost perfect. Johan was really great to work with and very responsive to my annoying questions. We have rented around a dozen trailers and this was one of the best. The reasons I knocked off a star was because it wasn't very clean, hadn't been dumped (yuck), and the propane had a leak.
Pros:
Perfect size/lightweight but still room for 5 of us to sleep.
Haley, thanks for the feedback. Was happy to hear how things went after speaking with your husband at drop off. Apologies for the tank. It has a black water flush system and I rinsed it out for 20 min until the water was clear coming out of the sewer hose. Sometimes the sensor in the tank has shown 1/4 full when in fact it wasn't.
Johan is fantastic to rent your trailer from, and the trailer is in great condition and fully equipped with all the amenities and safety features you could ever want. Johan was very thorough with instructions on how to operate, a PDF with everything written down, and even provided us usage of his adjustable hitch so we were sure to tow safely during our 5-day trip across the state.
We had a perfect experience! Johan was super accommodating and responsive. He provided step by step instructions via a pdf that we could refer to on our trip. Honestly, he went above and beyond to work with us and make our trip what it was. Oh, and the camper was pretty great too! We would love to rent again in the future!
I was really apprehensive about doing a rental, but really glad I did. The RV was great and made for a great trip. The owner was very helpful with explaining how everything worked. I have owned RV's for 25 years and have a lot of experience with them but Johan did a complete walkthrough explaining everything that would make a novice feel comfortable with the unit operation.
It was our first RV experience. Johan was kind enough to take his time and go through all the necessary details with us. He is such a nice guy and is super easy to deal with. It was surprisingly easy to tow it with our SUV. It was really comfortable and spacious for three of us. I love the fact that Johan is very flexible so that you can pick up / return his rig during decent hours.
