Throughout his fantastic journey, he picks up puzzle pieces from the characters he runs into, which ultimately teach him life lessons of balance, strength, courage, and fun. The Military Aviation MuseumThe Military Aviation Museum is home to one of the world’s largest collections of vintage military aircraft that are in flying condition. The aircrafts are examples from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan, from both World War I and World War II. Unlike most aviation museums, the Military Aviation Museum restores almost all of the aircrafts back into flying condition. They hold two major airshow each year, one in the spring for World War II planes and one in the fall for WWI planes. This museum isn’t just for aviation fans but it is a must see for anyone interested in the history of the country.
The Virginia Beach BoardwalkThe boardwalk might be the most suggested attraction in the city of Virginia Beach. It is a three-mile stretch packed with restaurants, hotels, and shops that offer something unique and attractive to all visitors. Much of the boardwalk overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and some of the buildings offer breathtaking views. There is a large walking path combined with a bike path for anyone biking and skating the boardwalk. Visitors can also stop at the museums, historic sites, monuments, sculptures, live stages with entertainers, and take a ride on the ferris wheel. Whatever kind of entertainment you’re looking for, the boardwalk most likely has it. Make sure to put this in your itinerary when you get here!

First Landing State ParkThis park is the landing spot of the first Jamestown colonists in 1607. The park’s waterways have been traveled by Native American canoes, colonial settlers, 20th century schooners, and today’s modern cargo ships. Its history is long and rich and only adds to the park’s already impressive majesty and mystique. There are 20 miles of trails and 1.5 miles of Chesapeake Bay beach frontage offering several recreational and educational activities. The park has a wide range of sites, some that are electric and some that are not. Most sites come with a picnic table, fire-grill, a bathhouse with hot showers, and 20-amp service.
