Under the Big Sky Fest is a three-day musical celebration of contemporary and traditional Americana genres, featuring a diverse lineup of artists spanning country, folk, bluegrass, and rock. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, Montana, the festival offers an immersive experience in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. In addition to the full lineup of musical acts performing from Friday through Sunday at Under the Big Sky Fest, festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of extra attractions. The Merch Barn offers an on-site shopping experience featuring everything from posters and apparel to exclusive festival souvenirs. For those with upgraded tickets, the VIP Bar and Beer Garden provides a premium space to relax and enjoy a selection of craft beverages. Adding to the festival’s unique atmosphere, a rodeo is set to take place throughout the weekend.
Under the Big Sky Fest is committed to ensuring an accessible and comfortable experience for all attendees. Several ADA entrances and viewing locations are available throughout the ranch, and ADA parking is provided in the VIP parking area for added convenience. To stay hydrated, festivalgoers can take advantage of a free water refill station centrally located within the festival grounds, or purchase bottled water at any bar or beverage kiosk. First aid stations will be clearly marked on the ranch and on your festival map for easy access. Additionally, a lost and found is located next to the Merchandise Barn. Other amenities include showers, bathrooms, and a general store to meet basic needs throughout the weekend.

The preferred campground for Under the Big Sky Fest is Bryan’s Field, located less than a mile from the festival’s ranch. Complimentary shuttles run throughout the day, transporting campers to and from the festival. Here are a few things to keep in mind if you're planning on staying at Bryan’s Field: • Campsite Size and Accommodations: Each campsite measures 20 by 20 feet, which may not accommodate large RVs. Every registered campsite includes a furnished glamping tent that sleeps two people. • Amenities: Campers have access to outdoor restrooms and showers, a water bottle refill station, waste collection services, and a charging station. • Food and Cooking: Complimentary breakfast snacks are available daily. For additional meals, consider prepping and packing your own food in your RV. Restrictions: Pets and campfires are not permitted. • RV Accommodations: Bryan’s Field does not offer hookups. For full RV hookups, consider staying at the Whitefish KOA Campground, located just eight miles from the festival.
If you’d like, you can stay at a nearby hotel or bed and breakfast instead of a campground for Under the Big Sky Fest. • The Apres Whitefish hotel is just a few miles from the festival’s ranch, and it’s just a few minutes away from Glacier National Park too. This modern hotel offers an espresso bar, a lounge with views, and rooms with contemporary artwork. • The Duck Inn Lodge is a bed and breakfast with free parking, free Wi-Fi, and free breakfast for all guests. It’s also got air conditioning, and it’s just three miles from the festival. • Farmhouse Inn & Kitchen is another B&B that is right off of Route 93, three miles from the festival. It offers two rooms, one which sleeps two people and one which sleeps four. There is also a Cafe open to the public on-site.
From downtown Whitefish: Head east on 2nd St. Turn right at the second cross street onto Columbia Ave, then turn left onto 10th St. Turn right onto Park Ave and then left onto Voerman Rd. GA Parking will be on your left. From Columbia Falls: Head west on Hwy 2, continuing straight onto MT-40 W. Turn right onto Dillon Rd, where it will eventually turn left and become Voerman Rd. GA Parking will be on your right. From Glacier Park International Airport: Turn left (North) onto US-2 E. Then, turn left onto MT-40 W and turn right onto Dillon Rd. Dillon Rd will turn left and become Voerman Rd. GA Parking will be on your right. From Kalispell: From Hwy 93, head north and make a right onto Hwy 40. If coming from Hwy 2, head north and make a left onto Hwy 40. Turn north onto Dillon Rd, and it will turn left and become Voerman Rd. GA Parking will be on your right. From Bigfork: Head north on MT-35 W, then turn right onto Montana Hwy 206. Turn left onto US-2, continuing straight onto MT-40 W. Turn right onto Dillon Rd, which will turn left and become Voerman Rd. GA Parking will be on your right.
Parking is included with the price of your tickets for the festival. General admission and VIP tickets each have designated parking areas.
Tickets for this festival are expected to sell out fast, and there are tickets available for daily general admission at this time. Children six and under can enter for free when you RSVP for them alongside your general admission tickets.
