This RV campground near the Columbia River, in Stevenson, Washington, is a fisherman’s dream come true. With RV sites large enough to accommodate a boat, anglers from all over come here to fish the Columbia River, Wind River, White Salmon River, and Drano Lake. You don’t have to be a fisherman to enjoy the park, though – the scenic location draws ture lovers, adventure seekers, and people looking for a quiet place to relax.
While catching salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, and bass is what draws many campers to Wind Mountain RV Resort, it’s certainly not all there is to do. You can try your hand at kayaking and whitewater rafting on the rivers, hunting deer and elk, and hiking the surrounding mountains. After you’ve had a long day enjoying Mother ture, you’ll be able to clean off in the showers and laundry facilities and wind down in front of some cable tv.
“Very nice park, large sites (some in the shade, others in the sun), free shower. Owners were very helpful and friendly. County park is across the street where we could walk our dog along the Columbia River.” – Starla, Google reviews
