An hour and a half north of Manhattan, in Wallkill, this KOA is just outside of Poughkeepsie and conveniently off of I-87. You’ll find lots of great dining and even some attractions nearby in Platekill, such as the Angry Orchard brewery. It’s easy to take the train into the city from Poughkeepsie Station, and the right is only about 2 hours.
