This particular campground is run by the Chena River services and is located right on the river. It is about 30 miles north of the city of Fairbanks. If you have a large group, this site might be a good option for you because it offers a group play field if you make a reservation.
This park sits on 29 acres and is right on the banks of the river, so it is definitely a nature lover’s dream. In addition to the 60 vehicle sites, there are five walk-in campsites. You can have lunch by the river at one of the many picnic benches, or you can walk alongside the river. There is even a boat launch if you were looking to get right out there on the water.
