Only 10 minutes from The Breakers, Paradise Park is about as close as it gets. It’s located in Middletown, Rhode Island, just minutes from a number of beaches. It offers a great quiet getaway while still being close enough to New Bedford and Westport for a quick trip into town.
If you’re looking for a typical New England beachside campground, the scenic views at Horseneck Beach State Reservation are hard to top. It’s very basic in terms of amenities, but it’s one of the cheapest beachside campgrounds you’ll find. The park is clean and well-maintained, and visitors rave about the campground’s oceanside RV sites. For all of these reasons, Horseneck Beach State Reservation is a popular spot, so be sure to reserve well in advance if you want a good site.
