Known as “T.Y. Park” by locals, the Seminole me means “meeting or gathering place” — an apt description for this 138.6-acre recreation area. The park is located in the northwestern part of Hollywood and just a couple of blocks off Interstate 95. As a state park, it features plenty of amenities, including a fully stocked lake and fishing pier.
Topeekeegee Yugnee Park is an all-encompassing experience for those who enjoy RV camping in Hollywood. If you want a place where everything you want is in one place, this is the perfect campground. There is even a “primitive area” set up for those who want to rough it while safe in the knowledge that the comforts of home are only a few hundred yards away.

Located in Hallandale, which is just due south of Hollywood, Holiday Park is a medium-sized RV campground with short- and long-term options. Visitors appreciate that it’s less than a mile from Hallandale Beach, which has white sandy beaches and warm water most of the year. Even if you come to spend a weekend, you may end up staying much longer.
Because of the long-term stays that are allowed, Holiday Park is more like a community than just a standard RV Park. Some of the guests here stay year-round and even longer. The location is close to places that sports fans will love, including the Gulfstream Park race course and the stadium where the Miami Dolphins play.

Located on the shores of Desoto Lakes and a few blocks from Interstate 95, Embassy RV Park offers plenty of nearby amenities to keep everyone in the family occupied. In addition to the fun you can have while staying at the park, you’ll be just minutes from a range of shopping possibilities at both Diplomat Mall and Aventura Commons. There are also numerous eateries near the park, many within walking distance.
The park has lots of shady trees to park underneath. In addition, all of the parking spots are paved, which is ideal if you happen to arrive during the rainy season. There are many RV owners who stay here year-round, so there is a real sense of community as well.

Another popular KOA campground site in this part of Florida, the Davie/Fort Lauderdale KOA is located a few miles northwest of Hollywood. This makes it very close to the Florida Everglades Wildlife Management Area. You’ll be able to see nature in all its glory from the safety of one of the many viewing centers nearby.

C.B. Smith Park is a multipurpose park in Pembroke Pines that offers numerous locations for parking your RV and camping. Since the park is due west of Hollywood, getting to the beach or any of the fun places to spend your days — and nights — is quick and easy. The property itself is almost shouting distance to Pembroke Lakes Mall where there are plenty of places to shop, eat, and have fun.
Like some of the other campgrounds near Hollywood, Florida that allow RVs, C.B. Smith Park offers what is known as “primitive camping.” This is the same type of camping you would have if you were secluded out in the woods. Here, however, if the weather turns, you can escape to the comforts of your RV.

Located on the northern end of Fort Lauderdale in the suburb of Oakland Park, Paradise Island RV Resort is another quality campsite near Hollywood. In this part of South Florida, you’re close to the renowned Los Olas Riverfront and Sawgrass Mills Mall. It only takes a few minutes to reach Hollywood Beach, which offers some of the best ocean spots on the East Coast.
This resort is loaded with things to do when you’re not out exploring South Florida. For example, there are two spacious clubhouses that feature amenities like a game room, billiards room, lending library, and fitness center. There is also a designated grill area for those days when you want to skip the quality restaurants in the area.

Northcoast Park & Marina, which is a few miles northwest of downtown Hollywood, has earned its reputation as a boater’s dream. The site is located right next to the Dania Cut-Off Canal. This allows boaters direct access to the Atlantic Ocean for fishing, boating, or just having a relaxing day out on the water.
In addition to the boating area, which includes boat dock space, Northcoast Park & Marina also has private tiki huts where you and your family can hang out and entertain guests. All of the huts have views of the water and nearby marina. In addition, the parking areas are all paved, and the lots are wide.

Another RV campground in the Oakland Park area, Sunshine Holiday Ft. Lauderdale is close to everything you need whether you’re staying for a weekend or the season. Several different shopping centers are nearby as are different places to grab a bite. If golf is your game, there are at least a half-dozen courses within the 15-mile radius.
There is a real sense of community at Sunshine Holiday Ft. Lauderdale. The staff often puts together various activities, which include everything from bingo and different card games to weekly potluck lunches and dinners to different kinds of dancing. In addition, the nightly rates are quite reasonable.
