Known as “T.Y. Park” by locals, the Seminole me means “meeting or gathering place” — an apt description for this 138.6-acre recreation area. The park is located in the northwestern part of Hollywood and just a couple of blocks off Interstate 95. As a state park, it features plenty of amenities, including a fully stocked lake and fishing pier.
Topeekeegee Yugnee Park is an all-encompassing experience for those who enjoy RV camping in Hollywood. If you want a place where everything you want is in one place, this is the perfect campground. Located in Hallandale, which is just due south of Hollywood, Holiday Park is a medium-sized RV campground with short- and long-term options. Visitors appreciate that it’s less than a mile from Hallandale Beach, which has white sandy beaches and warm water most of the year. Even if you come to spend a weekend, you may end up staying much longer.
Because of the long-term stays that are allowed, Holiday Park is more like a community than just a standard RV Park. Some of the guests here stay year-round and even longer. Another popular KOA campground site in this part of Florida, the Davie/Fort Lauderdale KOA is located a few miles northwest of Hollywood. This makes it very close to the Florida Everglades Wildlife Management Area. You’ll be able to see nature in all its glory from the safety of one of the many viewing centers nearby.

Northcoast Park & Marina, which is a few miles northwest of downtown Hollywood, has earned its reputation as a boater’s dream. The site is located right next to the Dania Cut-Off Canal. This allows boaters direct access to the Atlantic Ocean for fishing, boating, or just having a relaxing day out on the water.
In addition to the boating area, which includes boat dock space, Northcoast Park & Marina also has private tiki huts where you and your family can hang out and entertain guests. All of the huts have views of the water and nearby marina. In addition, the parking areas are all paved, and the lots are wide.

Another RV campground in the Oakland Park area, Sunshine Holiday Ft. Lauderdale is close to everything you need whether you’re staying for a weekend or the season. Several different shopping centers are nearby as are different places to grab a bite. If golf is your game, there are at least a half-dozen courses within the 15-mile radius.
There is a real sense of community at Sunshine Holiday Ft. Lauderdale. The staff often puts together various activities, which include everything from bingo and different card games to weekly potluck lunches and dinners to different kinds of dancing. Yacht Haven Park & Marina is on the banks of the New River in a gated community. This RV park is quite large, covering more than 20 acres of land.
If you bring your boat to Yacht Haven Park & Marina, you can cruise down the New River past downtown Fort Lauderdale to the Atlantic Ocean. This RV park features clean laundry facilities, and it even has fishing docks. Free Wi-Fi is available at limited hot spots throughout the park.

Hollywood KOA is aTwin Lakes Travel Park is in Davie, Florida. This RV park is quite large, and there is a billiards room on-site. It is across the street from Pond Apple Slough, and it offers weekly dances and other activities. KOA campground. This RV park is quite small, but it includes a sun deck, a recreation room, and offers firewood for sale. In addition, Hollywood KOA is near Hollywood’s famous ArtsPark.
Twin Lakes Travel Park has all of the amenities of a chain RV resort, like a pool and hot tub, but it is privately owned. There are eight laundry facilities throughout this RV park, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the grounds. The residents at Twin Lakes Travel Park are friendly, making this RV park a great place to enjoy group activities.

Paradise Island RV Resort has two clubhouses. This RV park also has a large indoor fitness center, and it is even home to a lending library. To top it off, Seminole Hardrock Casino, a popular gaming and dining center, is only 20 minutes away.

Another campsite located near Lake Orange, Sportsman’s Cove Campground is a paradise for sports enthusiasts. The site itself has its own boat ramp for you to launch your vessel and even boat slips to rent for long-term visitors. If you want to get out on the water but don’t have your own equipment, you can rent a kayak.
If you want to spend some time away from the RV or even just a night away from the kids, consider renting one of the park’s cabins that are available. Easterlin Park Campground is located approximately 10 miles from Coral Springs, Florida. It is a designated urban wilderness area with 100-foot-tall cypress trees as old as 250 years. A quick drive will put you at the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean or smack in the middle of downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The Great Florida Wildlife Trail is a statewide trail system with about 2,000 miles of walking trails that showcase more than 515 bird habitats throughout Florida, and Easterlin Park Campground is a part of that. C. B. Smith Park is a large park that is operated by Broward County. This park features a water-slide complex, a family golfing center and is filled with a number of small lakes. The RV park at C. B. Smith Park is relatively small with 83 RV pads.
