Twin Falls Resort State Park is a public recreation area in Wyoming County, West Virginia, that was established in 1964. Its name refers to its two scenic waterfalls that are located near Cabin Creek and that can be accessed by a hiking trail. Most of the recreation area sits on land that was originally donated to the state by the Western Pocahontas Land Corporation. You can quickly reach Pineville, West Virginia, or Oceana, West Virginia, if you want to visit some shopping destinations or restaurants. Some of this campground’s key features include a nature center, a restored working farm, and an indoor pool facility. Hillbilly Heaven Campground
Hillbilly Heaven Campground is a lively RV park that provides direct access to the RockHouse and Buffalo Trails. Black Dog Ranch is a family-owned and -operated RV park near 200 mountaintop acres that contains 75 RV sites. The origins of the campground’s name lie in the fact that the location used to be a working farm, and the owners had a black feist that they adored. ATVing is popular at the nearby Hatfield McCoy Trail System. Sites offer 30- or 50-amp power, and the nightly rate for either is $50. Each site comes with free Wi-Fi access. Hilltop Escape
Hilltop Escape is a campground that has been operating in the region for many years. It includes the Hilltop Restaurant, which is known for its signature 1-pound hamburger, breakfast items, and hot dogs. Inside Twin Falls Resort State Park
The Bowers Ridge Pioneer Farm was used during the 1830s as a homestead working farm and has since been restored for public viewing. Those who enjoy playing sports can spend time at the volleyball court, 18-hole golf course, basketball court, or tennis court. Twin Falls Resort State Park also includes a nature center that offers a range of exhibits and displays as well as several naturalist programs. You can visit one of the nature trails to participate in hiking, mountain biking, and bird-watching. Lastly, the indoor pool facility and many picnic areas are great places to unwind for an afternoon.

Charlotte, North Carolina, is one of the closest major cities to Twin Falls Resort State Park. Start the route by getting onto I-77 N/US-21 N from W. 6th Street and W. 5th Street. After following I-77 N to WV-16 S/WV-97 W/Robert C Byrd Drive in District 3, take Exit 42 from I-77 N. Continue on WV-16 S/WV-97 W/Robert C Byrd Drive.
