Inside Red Top Mountain State Park

Head to Red Top Mountain State Park to play on Lake Allatoona. Here, there are two boat ramps, two boat docks, and a marina. There's also a sand beach and playground that's perfect for the kids. Bring your bike to ride on the looped trail around the lake or explore the hiking trails. This park, located less than an hour from Atlanta, is easy to reach by taking Interstate 75 North to Exit 278 Glade Road. Get on Glade Road Southeast and take it about 4.4 miles to Lodge Road Southeast, and you will be at the park.
