The trailer was acceptable but had some problems. The reefer and freezer didn’t work. The water connection leaked so we had to just fill the fresh water tank. The rear leveler jacks were broken off. To pick up the trailer in a Walmart lot, the owner was 18 minutes late and didn’t have the keys. Overall, not a good experience.
Everything was great about this trailer except that it smelled like a stale ashtray. No matter what we tried (air freshener, cooking, candles, etc.) we couldn't get the stale 1970's bowling alley tobacco stench out of it. I was absolutely appalled by this, as the listing was clearly a non-smoking vehicle.
The whole process of renting the trailer and preparing for our trip was simple and straightforward. I appreciated the timely responses to my questions and even to my request to delay the trip by a couple of months. The trailer itself was clean and well-equipped, and the owner was easy to contact and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience!
