Located conveniently in the Chelan area, Lake Chelan State Park offers one of the bluest and most scenic lakes in the country. People visit frequently to enjoy the sandy beaches, serene camping areas, hiking trails, and great opportunities for swimming, fishing, and participating in watersports on the 50.5-mile lake.

Daroga State Park, just southwest of Chelan, is known for its beautiful mauve-colored hills that rise from the Columbia River. The park features a 127-acre camping area and offers beautiful views of the nearby mountains. It's a great place to simply relax and enjoy the peaceful setting for a few days.

About a 20-minute drive northeast on US-97, near Pateros, Washington, you'll find Alta Lake State Park.
