Before I jump into the RV review, let me talk about Brittani and Matt, the proud owners of the “Mo-yo.” What a wonderful family! They were super friendly and easy to work with. In the month or so before our epic voyage, they provided great advice regarding the rig and places of interest we should check out. Upon arrival to pick up the Mo-yo, Matt gave me a thorough review of all the workings and Brittani even accommodated our large group (8 total) with some extra pots/pans from her own kitchen.
On to the Moyo and our trip… This was our family’s first big RV adventure and a dream of mine for many years. What I thought might be a tight fit with 4 adults, three kids (15, 13, 10) and our newest 3 week-old, the Moyo handled with aplomb. After 10 days traveling down the Oregon Coast, Redwoods, San Francisco and back, we’re still talking to each other! The Mo-yo perfectly accommodates a great family trip. The price was just right and the Mo-yo had the most competitive mileage and generator usage allowance of any in its class. We didn’t bring any electronic distractions (TV, gaming consoles, etc.) but the kids and grandparents got to play cards, board games and actually talk to one another. What a treat!
First-time driving a 28-foot house on wheels was a little intimidating at first, but after a few miles down the road it became second-nature. Backing into camping spots was a snap and all the respective hookups worked great. It really seemed like the perfect size RV. I absolutely fell in love with RVing because of the Mo-yo, and well, you never forget your first!! Thank you Matt and Brittani for allowing us the privilege of sharing the Mo-yo with our family too.
