The Sea Pines Forest Preserve is a natural wildlife habitat and attraction that is filled with bridle paths, wetland boardwalks, observation decks, bridges, and fishing docks, all for the publics enjoyment. Fish Island Trail was constructed to allow motorist to drive to the lakes located in the heart of the preserve that are famous for their birdlife and fisheries. You can also visit the Indian Shell Ring, a 4,000-year-old Indian Village, the acres of native flora bloom in the wildflower meadow of Lake Thomas, and/or go to the observation decks at Old Lawton Rice Field to view the outstanding marshes & wildlife.
