Events
Festivals
One of the most fun and happy festival that you could attend is the Beach Glass Festivals. On the Great Lakes they call it Beach Glass. It is a two-day event which features glass gathered from the local beaches made into creative works of art and jewelry. The glasses that are collected represent a piece of history. All of them are broken down in the surf into smaller smooth pieces. After decades of being tumbled & polished by the natural forces of the waves, the glass develops a frosty patina look. These are then collected and used to create works of art by local artists.
Ashtabula County's Wine and Walleye Festival - Ashtabula Ohio's Wine and Walleye Festival, held on Bridge Street in the city's Harbor District, is a celebration of the county's favorite exports. The festival, held in late August features live music, wine tastings, a fishing tournament, and food from local restaurants.
