Every June, the top golfers in the world gather to compete at the U.S. Open, the United States Golf Association’s premier annual tournament. In recent years, U.S. golfers have dominated the competition, with players Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, and Jordan Spieth taking the top honors.
This year, the U.S. Open will take place at the Pebble Beach Golf Links, which will be the golf course’s sixth time hosting the tournament. Pebble Beach is a public course but consistently ranks among the world’s best places to play a round of golf. If you miss this year’s U.S. Open, don’t worry: The tournament will be back at Pebble Beach in 2027, or you can watch the U.S. Women’s Open there in 2023.
There are several options for tickets at the U.S. Open — which means there’s quite a difference in prices, too.
Let’s start with tickets for those on a budget. A Gallery ticket can be yours for as little as $60 and provides you with general admission access to the grounds of Pebble Beach and complimentary general parking and transportation. For a bit more, though, you can upgrade to a Trophy Club ticket starting at $90 and receive access to an air-conditioned tent with open seating. (You’ll still get complimentary general parking and admission.)
If attending the U.S. Open is a bucket-list item for you, you may want to invest in a ticket package that’s a bit more upscale. Starting at $725, a Centennial Club ticket allows you to enter a tented pavilion at the 15th hole with access to premium food and beverage options. There’s also the Lodge Premier Package for $1,500, which entitles you to access not only the grounds, but the main building at The Lodge at Pebble Beach and its restaurants and patio. You’ll also get VIP parking.
Feeling spendy? Try the Championship Experience, which is billed as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the U.S. Open in total luxury. For $40,000, you and a guest can stay in a premier room at The Inn at Spanish Bay from June 10 to 17. The package includes two premium tickets for Championship Week with access to The Lodge at Pebble Beach and Pebble Beach Golf Links; on-course hospitality, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages Monday through Sunday; tee times for seven days for two players at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, The Links at Spanish Bay, or Del Monte Golf Course; roundtrip ground transportation from San Francisco, San Jose, or Monterey airports; one $500 U.S. Open merchandise gift card; a personal event concierge; one VIP on-site parking pass; and the ability to secure preferential lunch and dinner reservations at Pebble Beach Resort.
The 2019 U.S. Open takes place at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, CA.

Unfortunately, there’s no official RV camping area at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Fans will be directed to park at California State University - Monterey Bay, which is about 13 miles north of the golf course. Complimentary shuttle rides will be available and are expected to take about 35 minutes each way.
There are a handful of nearby RV campgrounds to stay during your visit to Pebble Beach. Whether you own your RV or plan on renting one, staying in an RV allows you to bring all the comforts of home while you’re out on the road. If it’s good enough for Bubba Watson, it’s good enough for you!
Given its prime location, the Carmel Bay area is packed with hotels for out-of-town guests. The closest option to the golf course is, of course, The Lodge at Pebble Beach. But there are more great hotels, too:
For those who plan on arriving via rideshare, there is a designated passenger drop-off area near the main admission gate. Ask your driver to enter the Del Monte Forest through the Pacific Grove Gate or Morse Gate on CA-68. Vehicles larger than a 12-passenger van or limousine will not be permitted.
If you’ll be parking, you’ll need to proceed to California State University - Monterey Bay:
From the North using CA-1 Southbound
From the South using CA-1 Northbound
From the North using US-101 Southbound
From the South using US-101 Northbound
Tickets for the U.S. Open can be purchased online from the United States Golf Association. Discounts are available for children as well as all active, retired, and veteran military personnel.
