Chicago In Tune is a new citywide festival celebrating Chicago’s diverse and legendary music scene and the 2021 Year of Chicago Music. This month of music will bring iconic neighborhood venues, presenting organizations, and musicians from across the city together to celebrate all music genres and forms — with both free and ticketed events at clubs, concert halls, and beyond. Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events will present four special evenings at Jay Pritzker Pavilion made possible by the Millennium Park Foundation honoring music born and innovated in Chicago: Gospel music (September 3), Jazz (September 4), House (September 11), and Blues (September 18) — all at 5:30-8:30 pm.

ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

This new and upcoming festival features performances by talented blues, gospel, jazz, and house musicians, including old favorites and those emerging onto the scene. The Chicago Blues Festival which has been celebrated for years is now part of this new music scene. Although the Chicago Blues Festival event had always been held at and around Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park, it changed venues to the nearby Millennium Park in 2017. The Chicago In Tune Festival will be held at Millenium Park & Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

ON-SITE AMENITIES
