Every October, NASCAR's top drivers come to Las Vegas for the South Point 400, held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The actual race takes place on Sunday, but the entire weekend features fan events and other attractions related to auto racing. Also held during the weekend is a NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff race; for 2025, this is the Focused Health 302. Previous winners of the South Point 400 include Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Logano. The South Point 400 is part of the Cup Series playoffs that go toward determining the NASCAR Cup Series champion for the race year.
The weekend's main event is, of course, the big race. Besides this, though, there's plenty of other fun to be had. Fans get free access to the Fan Zone on race days. Pick up a Neon Garage pass and enjoy meeting your favorite drivers, take part in an autograph session, watch driver Q&As, and be up close and personal with the race teams! The Neon Garage also gives you access to view Pit Road during the race. Enhance your race day experience by purchasing a driver introduction pass, which allows you to stand in front of the stage and see your favorite drivers before the start of the race! You’ll also get front-row access to the pre-race concert.
Amenities include lost and found, ATMs, mobile medical teams, concessions, and souvenirs. You cannot bring in coolers, but you can bring one nonalcoholic beverage into the stadium. For more on what you can and can’t bring into the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, check out the FAQs page.
The address of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is 7000 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89115. It's located on the far northeastern edge of the Las Vegas Valley, by the Nellis Air Force Base.

If you've always wanted to camp out at the site of a NASCAR race, then you're in luck as the South Point 400 has several options for RV camping.
Premium camping options include the Motorhome Hill RV Lot. Amenities here include full hookups, paved surfaces, and shuttle service. Vegas Veranda sites include full hookups, security, a concierge, and restrooms.
Infield camping is available at the Inner Circle RV Lot. Sites here are dry camping only, with paved surfaces, showers, and security. Note that this location has more of a party atmosphere, so keep this in mind if you're looking for a quieter place to camp.
You'll find exterior camping at the Strip RV Lot. The atmosphere is suitable for families, with dry camping, showers, restrooms, water, and ice.
Take note of these tips for RV camping at the race:
• You can bring your pets, but make sure they're on a leash when outside your vehicle.
• If you wish to camp at the Inner Circle RV Lot, you must consent to have your RV searched before you can proceed through the infield tunnel.
• Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Don't just come to Las Vegas for the big race. Explore Sin City and surroundings by hiking on nearby trails and exploring the outdoors in the Spring Mountains.
It's estimated that Las Vegas has over 150,000 hotel rooms spanning properties that range from megaresorts to hotel chains to basic motor inns. However, note that for big events and major conventions, rooms can fill up quickly. If you want to stay on the Strip or somewhere else, it's wise to book far in advance for race weekend.
If you want to stay on the Strip in your RV, you have one option: the RV Park at Circus Circus. This site offers 30- and 50-amp electrical hookups in addition to water and sewer, a seasonal hot tub and swimming pool, and a dump station. If you want to take part in exciting casino action, the Circus Circus is right there.
Las Vegas Boulevard, aka the Strip, is often congested, especially on weekends. Leave your RV parked on your campsite and walk the Strip instead of trying to drive it with your vehicle.
