County and state fairs are a wonderful way to get the feel for a place. All in one spot, you can find the foods that are popular in the region, learn what kinds of fruits or vegetables they might grow, see the animals that live there, experience the art they make and enjoy, and try the things they do for entertainment. Of course, along with showing off the local bounty, fairs are full of just plain fun, with carnival games and midway rides and concerts. If you’re headed on vacation somewhere, check out their local fair for some great food and souvenirs...and perhaps you’ll even make a new friend or two! You don't want to miss the Washington County Fair (Arkansas)
There’s a lot to do at the largest county fair in all of Arkansas! Take in the Washington County Fair Pageant, visit the livestock, see a lumberjack show, or wander through the petting zoo. You can also take in the Talent Show, visit the rabbits and chickens, or see a display of quilts and other handiwork.
There are plenty of amenities on-site at the fair. You can purchase food & beverages there, and you can purchase souvenirs on-site as well. There will be a shuttle service for people who have wristbands. It will run Thursday-Saturday from 4PM-Midnight . There will be security guards/police on the campgrounds at all times.
