RV Rentals at Washington County Fair (Arkansas)

ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

There’s a lot to do at the largest county fair in all of Arkansas! Take in the Washington County Fair Pageant, visit the livestock, see a lumberjack show, or wander through the petting zoo. There’s also Buckin’ at the Fair, a bull riding tour that’s sure to thrill the audience. There are also thrilling rides and crazy carnival games to play.

You can also take in the Talent Show, visit the rabbits and chickens, or see a display of quilts and other handiwork.

ON-SITE AMENITIES

There are plenty of amenities on-site at the fair. You can purchase food & beverages there, and you can purchase souvenirs on-site as well. There will be a shuttle service for people who have wristbands. It will run Thursday-Saturday from 4PM-Midnight . There will be security guards/police on the campgrounds at all times.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Whether you’re renting an RV with RVshare or bringing your own, you can camp right at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Campgrounds offer sewer, water, and electric. There are 25 sites available with slides, and 10 without. To make a reservation, call 479-757-7342, or email [email protected].

There are also several campgrounds where you can stay nearby: 

• Southgate RV Park has 50 deluxe sites, city water, sewer, and trash. It also offers 30 pull-throughs, and 30 or 50 amp sites. There is on-site laundry and the campground is pet-friendly.

• Cowpatty RV Park & Campground has WiFi, full hook-ups, pull-through sites, ice, and a rec center. 

• Lake Wedington Campground has drinking water, showers, a boat ramp, and flush toilets. There are no electrical hookups, but there is a picnic table, campfire ring, and grill. 

WHERE TO STAY

RV Camping

Whether you bring your own RV or use an RV rental, RV camping is a great way to experience the fair! You can spend all day enjoying the rides and exhibits, and then retire to a hot shower and your own comfortable bed just a few minutes away.

Hotels

There are many hotels near Prairie Grove and Fayetteville, Arkansas as well if you choose to do that instead. You’ll find quite a few major chains with hotels in town, as well as some locally operated motels. Check travel sites like Expedia for suggestions. 

HOW TO GET THERE

From I-49 take exit 66 to Highway 112. Turn South onto N. Garland/Highway 112. Turn Right onto W. Drake at the stoplight, then follow left curve onto McConnell Road. The Washington County Fair is on the right, atop the hill. 

PARKING

In the evenings, volunteers are on-hand to help with parking. The Washington County Fair does not ever charge for parking. Their website also says they do not encourage paying for parking at lots maintained by other organizations. They are not associated with any of the individuals or organizations that operate those lots. 

TICKETS & PRICING

Check the website for Family Night, School and Church Days, Senior Citizen Day, and other discounts.

You can pay for general admission and for armbands that offer unlimited rides at the door. Also, don’t forget to check the website for discount days to save a little extra!
