Families have been enjoying the Oregon State Fair, held at the Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center in Salem, for more than 150 years. Generations have attended, experiencing everything the fair has to offer, from rides to livestock exhibitions and competitions. With a wide variety of live music, activities, food and more, the Oregon State Fair is the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer with family.
The activities at the Oregon State Fair include both American rodeo and Jaripeo, which is Central American and predates the founding of America by at least 150 years. There are chocolate-cake baking contests, needlepoint and crocheting competitions, and horticulture contests among many others.
There are restrooms, first-aid stations, water stations, and cooling stations spread around the fairgrounds. The Oregon State Fair map shows these locations.
